We did a little rearranging in our living room and it feels so much better! Light and open. So now I have the itch to redecorate since I'm actually enjoying the space again.

We already have a grey couch but I could not find our exact one. But this gives you an idea of what I am working with. I really want to layer these two rugs but my husband says they don't match. And then I say, "That's the point." They don't have to match. But for now I think I will get the blue/green one and maybe coax him into the big Ikea one.
I'm really considering that mint green side table. Or something like it. My husband wants more storage but I want clean, metal lines. Real estate is slim in our apartment so I want to avoid bulky furniture. I think I might compromise by having clean lines as a side table and putting a small storage unit somewhere else.
As I write this post, I am moving away from wanting the leather pouf. I do want a pouf or footstool that makes a statement. I might make one myself with this tutorial or this one or this one.
