DIY: Snowflake Earrings

I'm not into buying holiday jewelry. I know some people buy jack-o-lantern or wreath earrings and rock them once a year but it seems like a bit of a waste to me. But I did want to be a bit festive for our office party. So I came up with this really inexpensive and not-so-wasteful idea.

I bought these Martha Stewart vellum snowflakes on mega sale at Michaels. I just punched a hole in the top and strung them on earring hooks. Then, when I'm ready to use the stickers, I'll just take them off the earring hooks. See? It's like disposable earrings but you can use them again as stickers.
This is the first time I will wear a holiday-themed accessory, I think (other than St. Patrick's day because I hated getting pinched in high school). And I don't have to feel guilty about wearing it only once.
Do you wear holiday accessories/clothing? I think I'm definitely on my way to being that old cat lady that wears sweaters that feature cats with Christmas bows on their heads. Plus I'll wear lots of jingle bell jewelry. And sport the gratuitous cat hairs all over, of course. ;)
