National Adoption Day: Family Garland

As you know, National Adoption Day is this week. I'm preparing crafts for the kids' crafts table. One of the crafts we are going to make is a family garland. Keep reading to see the details and get the template download.

I designed little people shapes and then used my Cricut to cut out bunches of them in primary colors. I also cut a lot of dog and cat shapes out. Each kid will get to represent their family by picking out the shapes that represent their family.
Then they can draw on the shapes, use stickers, glitter glue, etc. I've already added holes to the shapes so they can easily be strung on yarn.

What do you think? I can't wait to see how the kids represent their families - it's always so cute.
You can download all of these shapes to cut by hand or with your Cricut (if you have appropriate software). Click to download the family garland shapes!
