I have to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas so we are going home to visit for New Year's. I thought I would send my family something small to open on Christmas Day (until I bring their presents later). I made this collaged card kind of in the 'smash' style. I think I might make one for each family member and write a note on the back.Supplies I used: cereal box for the base, a doily, a shipping tag, Crate Paper & We R Memory Keepers paper, a Crate Paper chipboard sticker (which I love!), a journaling stamp, handmade pinwheel, Tim Holtz green distressed ink pad and a Fiskars heart punch.
It is really sturdy since the base is cardboard. I thought about tying on yarn for a hanger, so it could be hung up. But that seems a little weird, like I want them to display the card. So I think I'll just stick with the card.
I'm really loving quick and easy projects in the 'Smash' style (and I just ordered a Smash book to try!). Have you done in smash projects?
