This weekend, we decided to work off all that Thanksgiving food. These are from a little hike in Chautauqua Park in Boulder.
There is a huge difference in hiking amongst the trees versus hiking out in the open. I love how protected it feels walking through trees. And the light trickles down in the most beautiful way, washing everything in soft yellow.
But I also love looking over our beautiful city. And the open field at the beginning of the trail head gives a great view of the city and the surrounding mountains. And the blue sky is so pretty. It's a very different feeling that the yellow light caught in the trees.
What did you do this weekend?
