DIY Bridal Party Favor

So, I can't claim this idea. I stole the basic idea from my cousin.
And I'm sure it's been done a million times before us.
But, it's practical and cute.

It's a Wedding Emergency Preparedness Kit. I made that name up.
I'm not sure "preparedness" is really necessary but it does sound official, doesn't it? ;)
Anyway, here's the one I recently did for my friend's wedding.
I gave these as favors at the bachelorette party.

I think this idea would work for any big event.
It was especially applicable to this wedding because most guests/bridal party members
were from out-of-town. (Meaning they can't run home & grab things they need).

Here's what I included:

Wet Ones anti-bacterial wipes
Shout stain removing wipe
band-aids
mints
safety pins
bobby pins
ponytail holder
Q-tip
makeup remover pads

I put it all in these super cute pink egg crates that I found at Bath & Body Works.
I wish I had a photo of the whole thing wrapped up because that was my fave part.
I used doilies & stickers & mulit-colored teal/aqua yarn.
Enough rambling. The end.

oh wait! Not the end.
I also sewed several totes from amazing hand printed dish towels from World Market.

Ok, for real - the end.

What a great idea! I always think of things I should have brought when photographing a wedding. There's always SOMETHING missing.
